Ho Wood
Essential OilCinnamomum camphora ct. linalool
Origin: China, Taiwan
About
Exceptionally high in linalool (80–99%), Ho Wood is one of the gentlest and most therapeutically reliable essential oils. Its calming, anti-inflammatory properties make it suitable for sensitive skin, and it is an excellent substitute for rosewood or lavender in many applications.
Ho Wood is the sustainable alternative to rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora), distilled from the leaves and branches of the Cinnamomum camphora tree. It was developed in response to conservation concerns about Brazilian rosewood and has largely replaced it in aromatherapy since the 2000s.
